About PunchTally
Punctuality, tallied. PunchTally makes free, fast, no-sign-up calculators for one everyday question millions of people have: how many hours did I work, and what am I owed? No accounts, no downloads, no upsells — and your entries never leave your browser.
What you'll find here
- Time card calculator — add each day’s punch-in, punch-out and break to get your total weekly hours, decimal hours, overtime and pay. It handles overnight shifts, fills weekdays in one click, prints a clean timesheet, and works in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic and Chinese.
- Country overtime calculators — dedicated tools that apply the actual overtime rules of each country, including Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Spain, Portugal, the UK, Canada, India, South Africa, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
Built to be accurate
Pay and labour rules are easy to get wrong — time is counted in minutes but paid in decimals, and overtime works differently in every country. So we do three things most free calculators don't:
- We cite the law. Each overtime calculator names the statute it follows (for example Brazil's CLT, Mexico's LFT, Spain's Estatuto de los Trabajadores) and shows when it was last reviewed.
- We handle the real-world details — night-shift premiums, Sunday and public-holiday rates, weekly rest-day reflections, Ramadan hours, and earnings thresholds — instead of pretending one rule fits everyone.
- We show our working. Every result is broken down step by step and clearly labelled as an estimate, not a payslip.
Kept current by people like you
Labour laws change. Every page has a short suggestion form where you can report a rule change (with a link to the source), flag an error, or request a feature. We read every message and update the calculators when something checks out. It's the simplest way we know to keep dozens of countries' rules accurate over time.
A note on accuracy
These tools are for general information and give estimates — they don't replace official payroll, your employment contract, or professional advice. Rules can vary by region, collective agreement and individual circumstances, so always confirm important figures with your employer or a qualified adviser.
Who runs it
PunchTally is an independent project run by the PunchTally team, built to be genuinely useful and free to everyone. Found a mistake or have an idea? We'd love to hear it — use the suggestion form on any calculator, or reach us through the contact page.
